Cherise (who was later supposed to become Cherise Harris) was the fiance of Kevin Harris. She was in a very brief scene at the beginning of the film when Kevin was picking out flowers for his wedding with her, which was supposed to happen before he shipped out. It is unknown if Cherise survived the Battle of Los Angeles, or if the couple was ever wed. Cherise was portrayed by Brandi Coleman.
In the Script[]
In the original script, Cherise was from Chicago and moved to Los Angeles when Kevin supposedly pressured her into moving so that their romantic relationship would last. He later regretted this after the Earth was invaded by aliens, because Harris knew Cherise would have been safe had she stayed in Chicago.
